Rental property applications

We've compiled some commonly asked questions about the application process, and what you can do to get ahead of the crowd.

What do I need to provide in my application?

We require one application per adult. Each adult must provide 100 points of identification as well as 2 most recent payslips.

What if I don't have any payslips because I've just started a new job?

If you have just started your employment or are yet to start, please provide us with the offer letter of employment.

What if I am a student/on a pension/receive Centrelink, and don’t have employment?

Please provide us with your most recent bank statements, and statements for any savings accounts you may have. If you receive Centrelink, provide these statements.

How can I help speed up the process?

Make sure to provide all supporting documents along with your application. If you are able to also get written references to attach to your application, this will definitely speed up the process!

What if I am a home owner and don't have any rental history?

Not to worry! Simply provide us with your most recent rates notice along with your application.

How can I make my application stand out?

We always encourage tenants to draw up a cover letter explaining a bit about yourself, your situation, what you like to do in your spare time etc, so that we can send this to the owner for when they consider your application.

I have no rental history, will this affect my application?

Not at all, people have to start somewhere! If you’re a first time renter, explain your current situation, whether it be living with parents or perhaps you're from overseas. If you are a home owner, attach a rates notice.

How much is bond?

The bond is 4 weeks rent. When signing, we also require 2 weeks rent in advance.

Having trouble?
