Independent's foundation has donated funding to around 50 charities over the past seven years, and this year passed the $1 million mark in donations to Canberra causes. Our staff regularly volunteer with local groups, getting ‘hands on’ and taking time out of their day to help when there’s a fundraising event, or to participate in fundraising activities like the Big Night Out, or TNA Turns Pink!

Independent has been operating in Canberra since 1958 in different shapes and forms. We wouldn’t be where we are today if it wasn’t for local community support, so it made sense for us to give back, and thus the Independent Foundation was established.
